Felicia Fel designed an application to help people spot an online scam, during her Software Development progamme with Future Skills.

Felicia has just completed our new suite of Software Development Microcredentials, which allow learners to build apps and gain real-world coding experience.

Felicia came into the qualification with a background in Digital Design. She has worked as a Visual Designer for the past three years.

She says she loved the practicality of the programme and the hands-on nature of the lessons.

“The course was very practical, and the lessons are taught in an interactive way, we get to learn by actually making things work instead of just watching lectures.”

As part of her programme, Felicia worked on a web application all about educating people about online scams.

Her app is called Airscammer, and it allows users to browse a fictitious flight booking website and click on things that look suspicious. Check out Felicia’s project here.

Felicia hopes to work as a front-end developer in the future and continue expanding on her software development knowledge.
